If you want to bring home more gold each time you go out, you must process more gravel. The Grizzly Pan will process 5-10 times as much gravel as a round pan and it requires less energy to operate. When the gold gets to the bottom of your Grizzly Pan, you are finished with panning. The gold concentrates can be removed through the bottom plug without wasting time washing gravel off the top. It is best to run 5 gallons or more of gravel through the Grizzly Pan before removing concentrates. You will get more gold with each clean up.

The 10" long Gold Miser sluice was designed to separate fine gold from concentrates. The patented grooves can hold fine gold while allowing waste gravel and black sand to wash out. Small particles of gold settle into a groove until they reach a point where they can touch both the back side and the front side of the groove. At that point, the flowing water cannot get behind the gold particle to push it out of the sluice. Don't overload the grooves so that gold passes over them and out of the sluice. Don't use too much water flow. Flat flakes can flip in the current like kites in a wind and travel out of the sluice.
